Academic Vision of Taisho University – Nurturing Four Qualities
Buddhism was founded by the Buddha around 2,500 years ago, and the teachings were based on wisdom and compassion. Our academic vision, which began 90 years ago in accordance with the spirit of Mahayana Buddhism, is to nurture human resources and create prosperity in today’s world. We aim to cultivate the following four qualities in our graduates.
A compassionate soul is obtained naturally through the process of continuing education when your aims are to achieve independence, become aware of the concept of co-existence, discover the essence of human life and develop a free and open mind. TSR-ship is the embodiment of our academic vision, which focuses daily on academic activities to foster exemplary human qualities, right bearings and attitudes, and cooperation.
