Cherry Blossoms on Campus

皆さん、こんにちは。
４月に入り、例年なら大正大学のキャンパスは、新入生や、新たな学年の始まりで希望にもえた皆さんの幸せな顔でいっぱいになります。今年はその活気にあふれた様子とは異なる静かなキャンパスですが、桜の木々は変わらず今年もきれいな花を咲かせはじめました。キャンパスに直接、観にくる事のできない方も、どうぞご覧ください。春は始まっています。気持ちも新たに前を向いて進んでいきましょう！　
　【蛇足ながら、アメリカワシントンD.C.のポトマック川沿いの桜の木が当時の東京市長から日米友好のシンボルとして贈られたのは、1912年。来年は100周年です。】

The sakura at Taisho University have begun to blossom!  Everyone looks forward to Japan's cherry blossom season, and thanks to the few sakura trees we have on campus we can enjoy their beauty every day.   They looked quite gorgeous this morning as I arrived at school.  As you can see, the morning sun is shining brightly on the flowers and there is not a cloud in the sky.  I  hope you all will enjoy this year' cherry blossom season in Japan.
