Study Project in Minamisanriku!!

Hi Everyone.  It was another beautiful day in Minamisanriku.  Today is the third day of our festival program.  We are almost done making our neputa gate.  Next, we will prepare some food stalls and set the stage.  The weather has been great.  Today's high was around 25 degrees Celsius, so it was pleasant to work outside.  We also got to see some of the locals preparing for their festival.  The food here is great, too.  There is a terrific chef at IRIYADO, the place we are staying.  I'd like to encourage students to come and volunteer next year.  It's a great experience.

みなさん、こんにちは。南三陸、３日目も良いお天気に恵まれました。今日はねぷたもほぼ完成に近づき、屋台やステージの準備も順調です。私たちがここに来てから、南三陸の気候は素晴らしく、心地よい風が吹き、初秋の空気を感じています。そのような中で食べる食事は最高です。特に私たちの泊まっている「いりやど」では、毎回、海の幸、山の幸をふんだんに使った心のこもった美味しい食事を出してくださっています。今年は地元のお祭りの準備を見学したり、ここでしかできない経験がたくさんあります。来年はみなさん、是非参加してみましょう。
